Hampton Inn Monterey

Super comfy rooms!

The rooms were really clean and felt recently updated. Beds were comfy and pillows were great too. Breakfast was better than most places I've been to, and I loved the free coffee available all day! Only thing was it got a bit noisy sometimes but nothing too crazy. Totally recommend this spot!

The breakfast was great. They have a waffle maker and muffins. They had some great cheese omelets and sausage. Toast, coffee, juice, fruit, cereal, yogurt.. Something for everyone and it was good..

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The interior was newly remodeled and was very nice and comfortable. This is our second stay at a La Quinta Inn and on our next trip we will look to see if there is one there that we can stay at. We would recommend La Quinta Inn to friends and family.

There was nothing we didn't like about La Quinta Inn.

The Hotel has reently been refurbished and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The price paid for a hotel of this class was way to much.

While I appreciated the location, parking could be a nightmare!!! More attention to room cleanliness would elevate the experience!!!

A nice, comfortable hotel. Free parking is great for those traveling by car. We needed a room for 3, which is not universally available. Good value, too. The combination was great at La Quinta.

There is nothing wrong. It is located away from the Monterey downtown, but this is a matter of traveler's choice.

Fast check in and great service overall. Nicely updated and brand-new room provided with a bathroom and 2 double beds and video games. Great breakfast to star a day with fresh juice, healthy food and also waffle machine.

Stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family. The bathroom could have used more hooks for towels, as there were only a few available.

The location was good and the staff was very helpful while beig quite friendly. I was with three people from Taiwan and they injoyed their stay as well.

Short of the powered eggs the breakfast was very good.

If I'm going back to Monterey, I will surely make another reservation at La Quinta Inn. I like the location, the rooms, the price, and the complimentary breakfast.

The initial greeting from the front desk seems neutral. That throws me out a little bit but she quickly managed to redeem herself. Also, I thought the rooms have microwave but they don't.

Very comfortable stay. We had booked a triple and were given a very large well furnished room with two queen beds. The breakfast choices were good. Overall an excellent stay and would definitely recommend.

Breakfast area is inadequate for a hotel this size and was crowded. Long line for the waffle maker - they should provide at least one more machine.

The hotel location was not as described it was a 15 minute drive to the centre of Moterey, not 5 minutes walk as in the hotel description. There is a $25 dollar per head area tax which is not mentioned and also the road noise was very loud. I would not reccmend that you stay at this hotel

Close to everything including beach and walking trails. Easy drive to nearby attractions. Very comfortable room.

Picture was a bit misleading. Picture included a "pond" with description indicating "on (or across from) the bay".
